Our History
A family cause that became a movement
Fantastic Oceans was founded by the Pereira family in Miami Beach, Florida, with one common goal in mind: the preservation of our beautiful oceans through education of coastal communities and “conscious consumption” of plastic.
Our mission is to preserve our beautiful oceans, marine life and coral reefs, and to prevent plastic pollution — bringing attention to a global waste-management challenge through education and awareness.
We are always here. Once the tides change and the oceans breathe, Fantastic Oceans is here to serve and protect.
Our Strategy
A two-fold approach to saving our oceans
Protect
Protect the oceans by cleaning up the plastic already in the water and reducing the harmful consumer choices that put it there — tackling the problem at the source.
Educate
Drive lasting change through education and awareness that makes people more conscious — in classrooms, in communities and on the water.
